About ILRA

ILRA is a volunteer-run organization put together by two passionate women and their happy, fluffy, rescued mutt named Spunky (the beloved mascot). Our goal is to raise awareness about the positive impact adopting and rescuing animals has on the world. We advocate adoption and giving second chances to those in dire need of homes. Ashley is a twenty-four year old animal advocate. She graduated from Northland College with a degree in Animal Psychology and Biology and plans to pursue a career helping animals around the world. Learn More.

Nikki is a twenty-three year old web designer with a passion for animals. She is taking this opportunity to use her web design talents and help create a website in honor of rescue animals.

Spunky is a smart six year old Husky/Shepherd/Chow mix that Ashley adopted from a pound in Ashland, WI when he was seven months old. He's a happy puppy who loves his large family.
