In an attempt to bring attention to the disastrous bush fires throughout Australia I looked for an animal who had been affected by the fires and was available for adoption. During my search I came across this week’s Shelter Sketch and had to stop there. As far as I know, Tye wasn’t made homeless or injured by the fires, but just take a look at his smile and you’ll see why I couldn’t pass him up!
Tye is a large adult male American Staffordshire Terrier mix. He is about three years old and a total softy. He loves to play and knows some basic commands, but is very strong on leash. He needs a home where he will be walked regularly, and given proper socialization and lots of mental stimulation. Then again, that applies to pretty much every dog! Won’t you consider bringing Tye into your home?
