365DAA Day 36: Spay the Strays, Fix the Ferals
We love any organization that is passionate about TNR and feral cats. As huge advocates and volunteers for our local TNR group (Central Texas Feline Rescue), we know the importance of managing feral colonies and keep stray cats from reproducing. Spay the Strays, Fix the Ferals is a small non-profit that was started by one passionate woman. Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with this awesome group and all they do.

About Spay the Strays, Fix the Ferals
Spay the Strays, Fix the Ferals is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that operates a Trap Neuter Return (TNR) program for feral kittens and cats to stabilize the overpopulation of unwanted cats roaming the streets and wooded areas of Chaska Minnesota and the surrounding communities.
We are a fully-volunteer supported organization. We trap the cats, transport them to the vet and release them. We coordinate with other humane societies to take in and adopt out our friendly cats and kittens. We monitor the feral cat colonies and ensure they have food, water and shelter. We raise money by selling ceramic items we make on ebay and in our information booth at Chaska River City Days.
