365DAA Day 13: Richmond Animal League
Today’s organization is the Richmond Animal League from Richmond, VA. This group comes to us from our good friend Laura Posey, an active animal activist and founder of Save This Pup (who you will see later on). I don’t know about you, but I love their logo – very cute and eye catching. Come learn more about RAL!

About Richmond Animal League
Since 1979 Richmond Animal League (RAL) has been providing hope, help, and homes to animals in need. The area’s longest operating no-kill shelter, RAL rescues and finds home for more than 800 animals a year. RAL is committed to working closely with municipal shelters and rescue groups to greatly reduce euthanasia rates in metro Richmond. RAL operates a high volume, low-cost clinic, the Loving Spay & Neuter Clinic, to help reduce the number of unwanted litters being born. Since opening in February 2010, more than 3,500 cats and dogs have been spayed or neutered at the clinic. We’re motivated and inspired by every happy ending that we make possible for cats and dogs who find themselves in our care. We will not rest until everyone is home.

Nice shirt! Great to know there are a lot of active members that rescue animals! I’m also rescuing animals in our town but there are not a lot of people who are interested in it though. I wish people would be kind enough to give these poor creatures a home.
