I love our vet! And I completely agree with you about the dogs vs. cats thing! It is SO much easier to make a dog do something than to make a cat do it! I usually buy mine at a store, like PetCo or Petsmart although my vet has them too. I have had two different vet offices use those when they give meds in the office.
